What is Poetry Leaves?
Poetry Leaves is an indoor and outdoor poetry exhibition that is displayed during the month of May.
The exhibition runs May 1st - 15th on the Township Campus, including Township Hall (1st, 2nd & 3rd floors), DPW lobby, and the library. A small outdoor exhibit of kids' poems will also be on the Civic Center Campus. Remote locations for indoor poems are the Waterford Recreation Center, Waterford Senior Center, Mason Middle School, and Grayson Elementary School.
This novel idea was a brainchild of Sue Camilleri. Then it was spearheaded by Joan Rogers of the Waterford Township Public Library.
We hope you will visit the Civic Center Campus (5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI, 48329) and take the time to enjoy reading the poems at your leisure when the exhibit launches again in May 2020.
Poetry Leaves submissions come from all over the world! See a list of some of the states and countries.
